Kouign-Amann in LA, raw dog walks, & Roald Dahl

Adrian and I love to go to SF almost exclusively to get our favorite pastry, Kouign-Amann. It’s been hard to find one remotely comparable to the ones we get there. BUT I finally went to Camel last week and their Kouign did not disappoint. Albeit a bit flatter, but great flavor & texture.

I’m almost 5 months postpartum and I’m on a hair journey. The shedding is real so I chopped it off again to get rid of the blonde but working from the roots with almond and rosemary oil hair mask 2x a week. But mostly here for the scalp massage. I got this brush off Amazon, affordable and gets the job done.

I rewatched one of my favorite movies the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and Matilda this past week. I forgot how much I loved Roald Dahl books growing up and I can’t wait to revisit them. I have never read any of his stuff written for adults but now I’m curious.
